Since vagina cakes went mainstream in 2010 - courtesy of Eat Your Heart Out & the PRETOX Potion pop up 18+ cake shop - interest in this niche area of baking has only ever increased. We've been asked by Torture Garden to feed rock stars cakes at The Kerrang! Awards, and Pop Bitch even had one as their pub quiz prize.

I am trying to raise funds to produce a book featuring the finest vagina cakes ever seen. Commissioning 20 of the UK's top baking talent to create their version of this most subversive of all cakes, and have the resulting creations professionally photographed to create this pocket guide. 

[Please note: this will be followed by a 2013 vagina cake calendar to raise funds for cervical cancer charities but this is not included within this project.]

Despite the fact I know this book will sell publishers seem a little scared of it (bunch of pussies) so I decided the way forward would be to created a first edition limited print run just to show them how very wrong they are! Anything that has such a brilliant effect on the wonderful Dawn French can only ever be a good thing right?.. 

For this first stage funds raised will cover cake maker materials, some wonderful photographers to snap these deliciously deviant creations and of course the printing costs. Happy to reap my rewards once I get a publisher... ...have everything crossed.
