Our journey isn’t over

Earlier this year we were able to welcome home our beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, Earl Gregory. Greg spent the last 30 years of his life under circumstances some of us wouldn't even dare to imagine yet he endured gracefully. Greg found a determination and love that moved him and that has been an encouragement to all of us down to this day transitioning into this new society. He hasn't missed a beat since his release. He makes all his meetings, goes to work and does this all under some still pretty unfair circumstances but with a smile and gratefulness. I don't know about you all but my heart smiles when I receive those text messages from him telling me how much he loves me and is rooting for me! He helps me in ways he has no idea and I'm sure all who get those unexpected messages feel the same. We all had a hand helping him survive over the years doing what we could when we could, and now that he's home unfortunately the journey is not quite over and he stills needs our help. During my last visit with my Uncle I noticed how much weight he's lost since he's been home. Greg is unable to eat properly due to dental issues. Often it causes him to regurgitate causing malnourishment and pain. I'm not sure how all of you feel but I didn't wait my whole life to spend time with this man just to have him become ill over something that can seem so minor yet cause major issues. While he has insurance, we know it does not cover everything and his part is still $766.10, however they are willing to accept half $383 on his next visit which is 9/11. I know this is just a couple of days away but OUR father, brother, uncle, cousin friend can use any and all of the assistance you can lend. Even if its $10 everything helps.
