Afternoon at Gudrun
By: Javier Badillo London"Connecting is a dance, and sometimes you have to get on the dance floor!"
Afternoon at Gudrun is a tender little film that speaks about the social awkwardness that many people need to overcome just to make a connection with someone else - especially in this digital era, when everyone is "safe" hiding behind their texting and headphones.
In our story, Olivia, a shy wine bar waitress and hobbyist ballroom dancer gets asked by a handsome customer if she can teach him some dance moves - which completely freezes Olivia's nerves!
Currently our project is completely shot and is being edited. All we need is the final push to complete the film and send it off for the 2012 film festival circuit.
We need to raise $2000 for the film festival submissions (festival fees, DVD packaging, mailing fees) and marketing (posters, postcards, web ads).
We have a fun list of perks to thank you for your contributions, ranging from our heartfelt thank-you to actual frames of our exposed and developed 35mm film reels!
Thank you, and don't be a stranger now! ![]()
