About Us
Raise Money For Great Ideas
Our website gives everyone the chance to make their ideas happen (from anywhere in the world). It is also a place for people who want to be a part of something new and exciting. A place to help fund creativity and exciting causes!
We provide a risk free way for people to raise money to fund their brilliant projects, causes and ideas. Here, project creators (from all over the world) can showcase their ideas to a wider audience, generate interest and garner the support of the “crowd” – the online community.
Project owners (anyone that wants to raise money for a great idea or cause) can submit their idea and invite people to pledge money to help get it off the ground. This is not an investment. The project owner retains full ownership and control of the idea. What financial backers receive instead are project based pledge rewards: experiences, products, acknowledgments and accreditations.
Users upload their project (a fundraising page), set a fundraising target and a deadline for when they have to raise it by. If they don’t reach the target by the deadline, the money goes back to the backers. "All or Nothing" crowdfunding enables project owners to be confident they will have the budget to complete their project and fulfill their obligations when they are successful. Backers know if the target funding is not reached their money will be returned (minus Paypal's fees).
The ideas that we showcase come from all sorts of people and varying fields such as music, film, fashion, charity, publishing, and more. The motives vary, the budgets vary, the nature of the projects vary, but the one thing that remains constant is the creativity behind them. So even if you are trying to raise money for charity, think how you could creatively pitch your project to garner the most possible interest in what you are doing and wish to achieve.

Project Guidelines
Before we can let you start we need you to read the rules! PleaseFund.Us is a platform for brilliant ideas to get funded. Below we have listed our goals and mission. If we (the PleaseFund.Us management team) are made aware of any fundraising campaign (a project) that violates our guidelines we may remove or decline the project from the PleaseFund.Us platform. Should you be unsure about the guidelines, then please contact us at Hi@PleaseFund.Us.
We are only able to list projects (films, theatre, charity fundraisers, books, festivals, innovations, causes, ideas etc) that have a set completion as well as clearly defined goals and expectations. We are unable to help projects that have no end in sight and we don't like blank projects. So if you can't get a single pledge within a week of your project going live, don't be surprised if we have taken it down. We don't like people just using us as an advert.
Be Creative!
No one likes boring projects and our community is not interested funding them. PleaseFund.Us is here to help projects from all over the world ranging from diverse areas such as Fashion, Dance, Charities, Art, Theatre, Invention, Photography, Film, Food, Design, Computer Gaming, Software, Good Causes and almost anything else you can think of.
We Do Allow Causes And Charity Fundraising But...
PleaseFund.Us is a platform for fundraising campaigns. Our community have signed up to help your project funded, at the moment, we are not able to link an individual project to your chosen charity (soon though...). Until then, think about raising money for your distinct project only (which can be to raise money for charity). Please think about how you are going to use the funds as it is particularly important with charitable projects that the funds are used correctly.
No Financial Incentives!
Our economy is based on rewards and patronage, not financial gain, please don’t taint it. Make your offer a unique experience, a limited edition product, something fun. No equity is ever traded on our site and no loans/financial returns (i.e. no share of financial gains) are either.
Finally, we want to see your ideas, but we don’t want to pay for you to have an amazing lifestyle. The projects that are able to raise the money are the ones where someone is genuinely passionate about what they do and are not trying to get a free holiday or six-month course paid for. No ‘fund my lifestyle’ projects (but maybe fund my awesome documentary on my crazy adventures....).
Who is Eligible to List a Project on PleaseFund.Us?
Everyone that has over 18 years under their belt. You need to have a bank account that can be linked to PayPal (you don’t need to have a PayPal account, but if you do and have already linked it to your bank then you know that your account will work with PayPal should your project be successful). You can submit a project from anywhere that Paypal works (eg USA, UK, France, Australia and many more wonderful countries).
No Link Building Only Projects?
PleaseFund.Us is a place to celebrate creativity, wonderful ideas and people, please don't fill it up with projects just to get a bit of traffic to your website. If your project doesn't receive one pledge in the first week, we might take it down if we suspect it is purely a marketing exercise (sorry if it is the real thing, just drop us an e-mail to get it reinstated). With this in mind, we have also set a time limit of 55 days max to get your project funded!
Your Pledge
As a new member of the PleaseFund.Us community I pledge that.....- I understand that PleaseFund.Us is not a way to make money, but to help creativity flourish
- I put teamwork, effort and the community ahead of my project's financial target
- I do not criticise other people's creativity
- I will help my creative friends get over the line
